Figured out what TOGAF 9 terms as Business Architects are usually called Business Analysts in most of the companies I have worked with. The enterprise architecture approaches does help to solidify the steps and processes that are needed to go through in a multi-year architecture migration exercise, and how an iterative approach is also needed towards architecture solutioning. The various templates of artefacts in the TOGAF standards in fact came in pretty useful in day to day work.
